Does anyone know if the TT Dynamic Range Meter plug-in & TT DR Offline Meter Software are still available for Free Download and where to get them? I went to their website and sent them and e-mail, but it looks like the site hasn't been updated since 2009. I never got a response back from them. They look like great plug-ins for mixing and mastering and I'd like to use them along side my Waves PAZ Analyzer plug-in. Here is their site to check out. It says you have to become and Active Member and donate $30 to get both plug-ins for Free Download. I e-mailed them about becoming an Active Member and donating the money to help with their cause 'The Loudness Wars', but like I said, they never even got back to me. Not sure if they're even around anymore.

This is a useful micro tool with a clever design and fast GUI refresh rate which makes it also enjoyable and easy to use. The Pleasurize Music Foundation created TT Dynamic Range Meter with the goal of fighting the over-compression of music. The program tells you the dynamic range of songs, so you can find out if you have just purchased a quality recording or not. One fun use of DR Meter is to compare different releases of the same song or album. I just found the free version of the TT Dynamic Range Meter VST plugin on the web - is it a 32-bit plugin only? I'm running S1Pro x64 and I'd prefer not to switch to the 32 bit version just to run one plugin. I've bridged all my other 32 bit plugins with jbridge and they run fine, but TT didn't work when I bridged the.dll (it's got some other. I did find and older version of the TT DR Offline Meter Software available for Free Download for both Mac and PC. If you look up at the top right corner of the screen you'll see

if you click the one you need, it will download it for Free. It's a great stand alone program to have to check your stereo bounced mixes. It give you the average Peak, RMS and Dynamic Range readings of your mix. here's the link for that.

Someone tried to vandalise the database by deleting about 76k entries. I restored those entries and have temporarily disabled the delete and edit functions to prevent further damage. In foresight I have implemented those functions in a non-destructive manner. Nothing is actually deleted but just flagged as such. Edits just create a new copy of an entry but leave the previous version intact.
This incident makes me think about introducing user accounts where users can only edit or delete their own entries. Maybe I will keep it simple by letting every album be created with some kind of password that the user can define when uploading the log. This way they can edit or delete their entries but not others. There have been other deletions in the past, mostly by people who think that vinyl, MP3 or self-improved versions of albums should not be there. I will address this issue in an upcoming FAQ at some time in the future.
I deliberately designed this project as a community project with wiki-like user privileges (everyone can do everything). I'm not a company, I (a single person) run this project in my free time and it is not my top priority in real life. This is why I don't respond to e-mails in most cases and why I don't introduce updates often. But I care about this project nonetheless and see that it is important to people. Major issues are always addressed at some point.
